Oh my. Say it isn't so. It's happening, and I heard once it's starts there is no stopping it. Just in the last three weeks, I have noticed this far from adorable crease forming next to my mouth on the left side of my face. Picture a smile line that never goes away, and it's not because I am always smiling. It is a for real, stuck there, permanent thing. I will forever think of it as my "boot camp" wrinkle. So, it's official. I made my first wrinkle cream purchase and plan to win this battle. Wish me luck, I'll need it.
On a completely different note, here are some great quotes and verses I've come across lately:
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face... The danger lies in refusing to face the fear, in not daring to come to grips with it... You must make yourself succeed every time. You must do the thing you think you cannot do." ~Eleanor Roosevelt
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper and not to harm you," declares the Lord, "plans to give you a hope and a future."
Isaiah 40:28- 31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
