I can't help but smile when I hear this song. How young and naive we were, dancing at our wedding thinking finally, we won't ever be apart. Goodness. If I had only known. I wrote Brett the other day, sobbing on the paper. If I would have known, I wouldn't have wasted a moment of my life being mad at him. If I would have known, I would have never gone a day without hugging him, holding him tight and not wanting to ever let go. If I would have known, I would have spent every free moment just being with him- not watching tv, sewing the night away or spending time with friends. If I would have known, I would have done things differently. I would have given him more praise, more respect, more love, more freedom, more adoration. I would have given him more of me.
